Mother's Greatest Attribute
On Mother’s Day at St. Peter’s Church of Oldtown Valley, Brother Ralph Maxwell Sr. preached a message titled “Mother’s Greatest Attribute.” The sermon centered on the truth that God will be everything we need in every season of life — our strength, provider, comfort, and help — and that faithful mothers often reflect those same Christ-like qualities within the home.
A major theme of the message was forgiveness. Brother Ralph emphasized that godly mothers display grace, patience, mercy, and forgiveness in ways that deeply shape their children and families. He explained that these spiritual qualities are not only taught with words, but are passed down through example and daily living. Just as Christ forgives us, believers are called to extend forgiveness to others so that future generations can see and continue that legacy of faith.
