Mike Ballentine has faithfully served in ministry for many years as both a pastor and youth pastor, with a heart for preaching and teaching God's Word. He is a graduate of Boyce College of the Bible and is licensed and ordained through Ridgewood Baptist Church in Wadsworth, Ohio.

Mike has been part of the St. Peter's church family off and on over the years, serving as interim pastor and filling the pulpit when needed. He is honored to continue serving the congregation by sharing God's Word during this season of ministry.

His greatest passion is seeing people come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and helping believers grow in their faith through the faithful teaching of Scripture. He believes God's Word is timeless, life-changing, and relevant to everyday life.

In addition to pastoral ministry, Mike has served the community as a school bus driver and has been actively involved with FUEL Ministry, an outreach to the off-road racing community. He was instrumental in helping bring the ministry's annual camp to Ohio, creating opportunities to share the Gospel and disciple families through motorsports.

Mike and his wife, Anita, have three sons and four grandchildren. Outside of ministry, he enjoys music and plays the drums, bass guitar, and guitar. He especially loves spending time with his family.
